Questions

Before you start.

Does it really work with no connection?

Open the form while connected before going offline. Drafts and queued responses stay on that device. Reconnect with FormShark open to sync, then confirm submission before clearing browser data. Starting a fresh session without a connection is not guaranteed.

What does it run on?

Use FormShark in a modern browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Native iOS and Android store releases are not available yet.

What can I actually ask?

Eleven question types — text, number, time, date, date and time, single choice, multiple choice, scale, rating, matrix and ranking — with conditional rules on any of them. All of them are free.

Where does the data end up?

View results in the app, export PDF or CSV, or send responses to configured Google Sheets, Slack and signed webhook destinations. The Business API provides read-only access.

What happens when I hit the free limits?

Your collected data stays available. Monthly allowances are shown in the plan comparison above. Existing paid unlimited allowances are retained. When Business expires, API access and media editing stop. Published media surveys collect for seven more days, then pause until Business is renewed.
